JMD Design of Redfern, Sydney has created a cool kids’ outdoor space that makes us all want to run free and wild, with our hair blowing happily in the wind and our bodies full of positive(积极的) energy.

The 20,500 square meter park, opened this summer, is located(处于) at Jamieson and Homebush Streets, in Sydney, Australia, and operates under the Sydney Olympic Park Authority.

JMD Design wanted to avoid the fenced-in, overly structure-based approach(方法) of many kids’ outdoor parks. They worked with, rather than against the earth forms of cones(圆锥体), cuts and terraces(平台), established(确定的) earlier at this site, and created a free-flowing, open play area with surprises and distinctive(有特色的) activity points.

The tree house is manufactured from galvanised(激励) steel, fibrous(纤维的) cement(水泥) sheeting floors and walls,hardwood(硬木) timber(木材) batten(板条) walls and ceilings, stainless(不锈的) steel mesh(网眼) walls and ceilings with rope floors in some areas.
