这是由dekleva gregoric设计的临海住宅，位于斯洛文尼亚毛伊岛北部海岸，这里有高高的悬崖和海岸强风，并有着完美的海浪。一些冲浪帆的设计师们十分喜爱这里的海浪，于是举家前往该地区，并组建走了自己的工作室Neil PRYDE。最近，设计师dekleva gregoric通过近十年的准备和完善，终于选定了最佳位置，完成了自己梦想中的房子，这里面向大海。同时，又不会收到强烈海风的大的影响。斯洛文尼亚的公司dekleva gregoric arhitekti被选为该建筑的建筑商，这里的无人居住区在不就的将来会建起一座岩石景观的住宅。整个住宅为U型，外墙被混凝土挡土板隔开，这里有着业主个人的卧室以及客房。从中央厨房和用餐区会为客人们准备舒适、宽敞的活动空间，并也考虑到客人的个人隐私。坚硬的外墙，能够抵御强烈海风的侵蚀，真正实现了低技术含量、高水准舒适的高效设计。

maui’s northern coast is full of rocks, high cliffs and strong winds – conditions that tend to repel tourists when compared to it’s more tropical temperate counterpart along the south. they are also conditions that make for the perfect waves, something that wind surf sail designer robert stroj fell in love with when moving his family to the area to lead the design research studio of neil pryde. almost a decade of preparation and searching for the perfect site finally culminated in the completion of their dream house facing the ocean. slovenian firm dekleva gregoric arhitekti was chosen to carry out the design, having the opportunity to realize a project in a mostly uninhabited location characterized by long stretches of uninhabited land. in response to the rocky landscape, the house is embedded into the sloping site. u-shaped concrete retaining walls are spaced out on the lot, creating pockets of private program: the owner’s and guest’s bedrooms. having one side open on each concrete foundation effectively directs views to the ocean while maintaining a large degree of privacy from the interstitial public areas which revolve around a central kitchen and dining area perfect for hosting guests. a network of beams and joists stretch across the concrete bases to support a wood-clad roof that folds above the ground until being received by an uplifted portion of grass that transitions back into the ground – an extended hard surface that gives the owners an immense deck from which to view the sea. with an efficient design geared towards natural ventilation and plasters made from sand gathered from only a few hundred feet away, the low-tech house achieves a high level of comfort without the excessive use of mechanical equipment.
