![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Each outfit(机构) in this series crafted(精巧地制作) from paper by students in Estonia represents a different month ![]() Tutored(辅导) by fashion designer Marit Ilison, the group of Estonian Academy of Arts students were limited to using paper from a single company though they had free reign(统治) over colours and forms. ![]() "It was a very quick course, so students had two weeks for research and then two weeks to test and execute(实行) real costumes(服装)," Ilison told Dezeen. ![]() This photo set styled by Ilison was used to create a calendar for paper brand Antalis. ![]() "I selected best 12 outfits(机构) from 24 participators(参与者), then Iproposed(建议) the idea of a calendar to Antalis and they liked it," said Ilison. "Later we selected and decided which photo would portray(描绘)which month." ![]() The first two wintery(寒冷的) pieces were made from white sheets, with January's design comprising(包含) layers of circular(通知) sections withstrips(带) cut out. ![]() For the second, long tubes crossed the body to form a scuptural dress while shorter rolls were stacked(堆叠) into a headpiece(盔). ![]() Moving into Spring, floral(花的) shapes adorned(装饰) outfits asgeometric(几何学的) seed pods and then scrunched(碾碎) up pinkpetals(花瓣). ![]() July's offering saw the material edged in red, looped(成圈的) tightly back and forth(向前) to create giant(巨人) ruffles(皱褶) similar to Elizabethan neck pieces. ![]() Colours became more somber(忧郁的) on the autumnal(秋天的)garments(衣服), particularly the collection of brown shapes built up around the body and extended(延伸) over the head that looked like leaves ready to fall. ![]() For December reams(令) of colourful ribbon-like strips splayed(张开) from the shoulders and curled(卷曲) up by the ends, with some tied in a bow at the neck. ![]() To see more paper fashion, take a look at a Royal College of Art graduate collection that features(特色) a dress that expands(扩张) as you move and a concertinaed handbag. ![]() |
