London-based design studio TILT have created a chair named Quiet. “The insights(洞察力) behind TILT’s latest products were conceived(怀孕) during codesign(合作设计) workshops(车间) with staff(职员) and patients at the Whittington Hospital in London. Safe personal space, whether standing or sitting, was a key insight of the process and TILT created an enclosing(围绕) form that can be either a chair or a booth depending on need. The pentagonal(五角的) shapes are deliberately(故意地) cocoon(茧) like, allowing the user to feel protected and cosy(舒适的), almost immune(免疫的) to the outside world.” Take a look!
